Established in 2015, we believe in providing our clients with a well rounded fitness environment. From training to nutrition to recovery, we know it takes more than just exercise to have a healthy and overall fulfilling lifestyle.

Goals, Progress and Attendance Tracking

When you come into PROKOR for the first time, you'll meet with our head trainer one-on-one to go over your goals, failures, any injury or mobility issues, and nutritional history along with an overhead squat assessment which gives the trainers an idea of your range of motion and overall flexibility. From there you'll receive a customized workout plan tailored to you and only you. All of our trainers will know who you are, what your goals are, what training plan is in place for you, and how often you come to the gym. If you ask our clients why they love us so much, they'll say "accountability". Because if we see you haven't been to the gym in 10 days and are already falling off your training plan, our trainers will follow up with you to keep you on track.


Class Sizes

We keep our class sizes small for several reasons. We're not about pushing 30 bodies into a room only to push them out in an hour and bring in the next 30. Not only is this dangerous, but we know every body is different - that's why we customize your workouts and set up your stations prior to your arrival. With smaller class sizes, you get the attention and customization as if you had a private trainer. Smaller class sizes allows for us to create a more personalized and attentive environment for each of our clients and also creates a bond between our members because they get to know and motivate each other.

Variety

One of the most important things you can do during your fitness regimen is to incorporate variety into your workout. We do this by offering a multitude of classes under one roof: Strength & Conditioning, TRX, Cycling, Boxing/Kickboxing, 4 types of Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. With 300+ training sessions on the schedule per month, we make it really hard for you to have an excuse to not go to the gym. The workouts are never the same, so you'll never get bored and never hit the plateau. 


Community

We love the sense of community our downtown location holds, especially being part of the East Village community and its development. Our small class sizes allow our clients to get to know one another in a much more personal level and motivate each other through the workouts. PROKOR holds frequent member and public events to raise money for charities and bring the downtown area closer together.

Trainers

 

All of our trainers are certified by high-ranked accredited fitness bodies, which means they’ve been trained in anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. They understand that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to get fit at the right pace.

"I established PROKOR with the idea that our facility would be the one-stop shop for our clients' healthy lifestyle choices. I've been to the big box gyms, the crossfits, personal trainers, the specialized studios but there was always something missing. I lacked nutritional guidance, I got hurt and didn't know how to properly recover, I was stuffed in a room with 30 bodies all pushing the same weights and had no sense of community or direction. With our small class sizes, our world-class trainers who know every detail about you and your fitness history and have a passion for their work, our meal prep program and slew of recovery outlets, PROKOR is passionate about helping our clients achieve the goals they want while feeling like part of a community and getting all their services they need under one roof."
